Over the years I have knitted some pretty sweaters.  Thank you mom for teaching me to knit.... I have made some nice baby sweaters that make nice gifts. Other hobbies have taken priority though.  I did love to do cables and Icelandic sweaters. I have two left that were a bit big that I can still wear.  Both were made for hubby and he has put on weight so he can no longer wear them but I still do. Anyway I thought if I can knit big why not small????  Well it is pretty dang tedious but I am trying.  I started out with a little swatch to see if I could do it.
Here is a free pattern I found from Buttercup Knitting out of the UK.  Most knitting needles and accessories come from the UK and I don't do pay pal so I was on my own.  I found some tatting needles at Joann Fabrics and I think they are small enough and I had some yarn left over from a mini tapestry class I took last spring.

This is the back of the sweater so far I have done.
These are tiny stitches and if my eyes hold out lol I may get it finished....
Next will be the front and the sleeves.  Wish me luck!!!  I will post it when done.
Till next time.   Mini Hugs, LJ

  1. How adorable. Sure is tiny!

  2. Oh it is so can you ever see what you are doing? Mother taught you well! Great job...want to see the end results!

    Hugs & Purrs,

  3. Hello LJ,
I can't wait to see the finished sweater. That is one talent I have not yet mastered which is on my to do list.
    Keep up the fantastic work.
    Big hug,
