Red Sweater

The mini red sweater is done. YAY!!!
This pattern was for a child's sweater but  it would fit my man doll (I put together this guy a couple of years ago).
I will have to adjust this pattern to make for a child.   Smaller you say, maybe I will stick with adult dolls, lol....

Over the years I have knitted some pretty sweaters.  Thank you mom for teaching me to knit.... I have made some nice baby sweaters that make nice gifts. Other hobbies have taken priority though.  I did love to do cables and Icelandic sweaters. I have two left that were a bit big that I can still wear.  Both were made for hubby and he has put on weight so he can no longer wear them but I still do. Anyway I thought if I can knit big why not small????  Well it is pretty dang tedious but I am trying.  I started out with a little swatch to see if I could do it.
Here is a free pattern I found from Buttercup Knitting out of the UK.  Most knitting needles and accessories come from the UK and I don't do pay pal so I was on my own.  I found some tatting needles at Joann Fabrics and I think they are small enough and I had some yarn left over from a mini tapestry class I took last spring.

This is the back of the sweater so far I have done.
These are tiny stitches and if my eyes hold out lol I may get it finished....
Next will be the front and the sleeves.  Wish me luck!!!  I will post it when done.
Till next time.   Mini Hugs, LJ

Easy Nightgowns

I was having picture issues and finally can upload from my puter again thanks to blog sites I checked out and gave credit to on my Cozy site.  If anyone viewing my post has probs you can go to cozy and the explanation is there under PHOTOS BACK.  If you want me to email the directions to you please leave a comment and your email address here and I will send them to you.

Monday nite was mini meet nite and these are what the girls made.  I received one in a swap last year so they used it as their template.

These are supposed to be made from tissues.  Yup, the blow your nose kind. The two on the right are definitely tissues.    Hey it's flu season right... Looks like someone may have snuck in fabric on the ones on the left, lol... They are not meant to be put on a doll but to lay out on the bed as they are formed on top of a card stock cutout.
Neat idea and easy peasy to do.
Till next time. Mini Hugs.  LJ
