Glitter Houses

Hi, if you follow my other blog you know that I bought a Silhouette Cameo.  Mostly for making greeting cards and to cut out appliques for quilts. You all know how I like to play.  I received a $10 purchase card to their site Silhouette Studio and I bought these 3 patterns to cut out on the machine. They were designed by Samantha Walker.  You can go to her website  or you can view some of her designs on Silhouette online studio.  These have been so much fun to put together.  I have a Church to do but not designed from this same person. I think it will be just as cute.  I mean really, what is a Christmas Village without a Church?  Off to the craft store for more glitter stock.

These are soooooo cute.  My mom had a set back in the 50's that were bought at Woolworth's. Not quite as elaborate, but I used to wait every year for those little houses to come out at Christmas.  Mom would let me set them on the shelf very carefully.  Haven't a clue what happened to them but they were made of cardboard so hard to keep in tact down thru the ages, lol...

The snowman scene was made by a friend from the Mini Club and part of the Secret Santa exchange.  It is darling and I love it....

I have to find more bottle brush trees to add to the scenery.

  2. Hi Lady Jane! These winter houses are lovely, but I really adore your small snowman ;)!
It is strange to read about Christmas in summer, but it will be in only four months! Time flies :D!

  4. I just love those! They are so cute and magical with total whimsy! Your snowman is so sweet!! I have found some great bottlebrush trees in the scrapbook section of the craftstore. I don't know how you'd put them in a scrapbook! But they are there!! And that works out great for mini creators. LOL!
    hugs♥,
